elevated 9ss8S With heavy hearts, our family said goodbye to our beloved patriarch, Fiore Sarro, on Monday June 3rd 2024 at the age of 92. Born in San Marco Argentano, Cosenza, Italy Fiore made the journey to Canada in 1954, where he married his childhood sweetheart Carmela on Christmas Eve of that year. Together, the two sponsored and housed their families to Canada, and were blessed with 5 children of their own.
elevated 9ss8S Fiore was full of passion and zest for life, as evidenced by his love of travel and his many hobbies. A true outdoorsman, Fiore was happiest when he was out hunting or fishing, spending countless summers at the cottage. He took great pride and joy in his vast vegetable garden and always made enough homemade wine and salami to share with all his loved ones.
elevated 9ss8S Above all, Fiore prioritized his family, showering each of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with love and generosity. Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
elevated 9ss8S Fiore is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife Carmela. Cherished by his dear children Iolanda (Lucio), Giuseppe (Francesca), Lidiana (Joe), Franco (Andrejka) and Giovanna (Giuseppe).
Proud nonno to Josie (Steve), Carmela (Derek), Kristina (Jonathan), Mario, Fiore, Robert, Daniel, Adriano, Lucca, Andrew, Kassandra, Christian, Antonio, Rosa Carmela, Leanne and Sarah.
Adored bisnonno to Dario and Damiano. He will always be remembered by his furry friend Lucy.
Fiore also joins in Heaven his parents Giuseppe & Violanda; and his siblings Filippo (Emilia), Silvio (Annina), Armando (Angelina), Emilia (Pasquale), Acheropita (Mario) and Ida (Pasquale). He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces and nephews and family.

I’m so very sorry to hear about the passing of your dear father.
Even though I only met him a few times, I feel like I knew him well; all the stories that Lidia used to share about their cottage days and Mr Sarro’s garden.
