elevated qQ7ja Born August 24, 1931 in San Vidotto, Udine, Italy. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Zia, and friend, Fiorina Bortolussi. She passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital on Saturday April 25th, a few months shy of her 89th Birthday. Predeceased by her beloved husband Erio, parents Giovanna and Giovanni and her brother Renzo (Velia), and nephew Edoardo. She will be dearly missed by her brother Fulvio Rodaro and his wife Marjorie. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her nieces Joann and Tanya, nephews Barry and Nello and their families; as well as her many friends. Fiorina had an exceptional love for children and will be remembered for her caring and nurturing disposition by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her. If desired, memorial donations in Fiorina’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
I’m so very saddened to hear this news. Fiorina will always be remembered for being one of my mother’s first friends in Canada and for introducing my mother to my father 60+ years ago.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
I hope this bring a small measure of comfort during this difficult time.
