elevated clvFu Obituary
elevated clvFu It is with profound sadness and heartache that I announce the passing of my beloved mother Franca Vecchiarelli on Saturday, April 24, 2021. At 79 years young she conquered and overcame many obstacles in her life. She faced each challenge with strength, courage and determination, never giving up. Her sense of humour and silly shenanigans will be treasured in our hearts forever.
elevated clvFu The one thing that gave her so much joy and happiness were her 3 grandsons, Nico, Giordano and Alessandro. Her eyes lit up every time she mentioned their names. Not to mention how much she loved me, her only daughter, Josie and my husband Frank. She always told me I was her guardian angel but now I think she will be mine. After 28 long years, she will finally be reunited with my dad, whom she missed dearly and spoke about almost every day.
elevated clvFu She was diagnosed with Dementia about 7 years ago and although it may have affected her mind, it never took away her spirit and faith. My mom will be dearly missed by her siblings, Assunta (Augusto), Domenica,(Antonio), Maria (Joe), Enrico (Maria) and Elsa (John), as well as her many nieces and nephews.
elevated clvFu Due to Covid-19, a private mass and entombment will be held on Thursday, April 29. See below to stream the mass. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario or any other charity that you may hold near and dear to your heart.
elevated clvFu Thank you to everyone for your outpouring of love, prayers and gestures of kindness and generosity. They will never be forgotten.

Dear Josie and family,
My sincere condolences at the loss of your beloved mom. The beautiful photos of her life filled with love are so special. Her affection and deep love for you and your family is clear, in the smile on her face and the joy in her eyes. This painful time is undoubtedly more difficult in light of our current circumstances, where we need our faith the most and yet its limits are being tested, daily. My prayer for your family is that during this time of loss and grief, may your deep faith and trust in God comfort you, to bring you peace and hope, as though we face many trials here on earth, the Lord now holds your dear mother safely in the palm of His hand, in heaven. With love, friendship and sympathy, Vicky

My deepest condolences to Josie, Frank and family on the passing of Aunt Franca. I will always remember her for her witty charm and genuine affection and love towards everyone. She would never let me walk away until she smothered me in kisses! Just under two years ago, my mom and I popped in to see her on a surprise visit, she was so happy to see us and spend time together. Aunt Franca, may you rest peacefully in heaven among the angels. God bless you!
