It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Francelina De Jesus Gaspar Alves on Monday, September 7, 2026, with her daughters and her sister by her side at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Fernando. Loving mother to Fernanda (David) and Anita (Greg). Proud grandmother/avó to Melissa, Jacqueline (Neil), Sarah (Jonathan) and Daniel (Rachel). Adored and cherished great-grandmother/bisavó to Madison, Owen, Grayson, Emerson, Taylor, Riley, Mason and Morgan. Predeceased by her parents Francisco and Jenuina Gaspar and siblings Durvalina, Francisco, Maria and Joe. She is survived by her sister Teresa and her husband Peter. Francelina will be fondly missed by family and friends in Canada and in Portugal.
