It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Francesca Anania (Nee Patella) on Monday, May 4, 2026. Born in Monasterace, Reggio Calabria, Italy to Giuseppe and Teresa Patella. Francesca is survived by her children; Franco, Saverio, Laura, Nicola, and Sandro. Beloved Nonna to Imma, Raffaele, Daniele, Stella and Anthony. Bis-Nonna to Vanessa, Giada and Chiara. She will be dearly missed by her extended family in Canada and Italy and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.  Memorial donations may be made to  Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in Francesca’s Memory
