Obituary
elevated p4Zwi It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Francesco (Frank) Bruno. Frank died at the age of 78, on September 9, 2021. Francesco is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gina (nee Turco) and his beloved children Peter (Cynthia Guarraci) and Mary (Sal Ammirato). He was a proud Nonno to Sofia & Francesco and Arianna, Corrado & Gia. He cherished his grandchildren and embraced every moment that he spent with his immediate and extended family.
elevated p4Zwi Francesco’s quiet and gentle demeanor always put everyone at ease. He had a longing for the important things in life, he loved surrounding himself around family and friends. He was passionate about his heritage and continued many of the traditions that he inherited from his native country, Italy. His garden was his oasis and he and his wife enjoyed harvesting and sharing what they grew with friends and family. Francesco’s smile and love will forever be missed.
elevated p4Zwi Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16 from 4-8 pm and a private funeral services will be Friday, September 17 at noon at Holy Cross Funeral Services, 8361 Yonge St. Thornhill, Ontario.
