It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francesco Carella, a devoted husband, proud father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend. He left this world on November 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family — the people who meant the most to him.
Francesco was born in Triggiano, Bari to Rocco Carella (Carbonara, Bari) and Stella Giampietro (Triggiano, Bari) on May 9, 1939. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dina of 59 years, his children, Rocco (Teresa), Stellamaria (Mauro), Mariangela (Jason) and his grandchildren, Frank, Anthony, Erica and Eliana as well as many friends and extended family who were touched by his kindness and strength.
Francesco’s legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the values he embodied, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those he leaves behind.
