elevated YV9s9 Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Francesco (Frank) Di Felice in his 92nd year on Friday, February 21st, 2025 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was pre-deceased by his beloved parents, Gaetano and Giuseppina Di Felice, and his sister Anna Angelone. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Linda, and his sister Maria Cantalini in Italy. He was the proud father of Giuseppina ‘Jo’ (Jeff Sullivan) and Sandra (Alastair Heath). He was a loving Nonno to Dan Sullivan (Annie Nanowski), Angela Sullivan (T.J. Crossman), Mike Sullivan (Sarah VonderBrink), Robert Heath, and Laura Heath, and dear Bisnonno to Ryan Sullivan, Joseph Crossman, and Emma and Charlotte Sullivan.

elevated YV9s9 Francesco was born in Navelli, L’Aquila, Italy. He took great pride in his heritage, and enjoyed reminiscing about his life in Navelli. He loved sharing stories of his early years tending to the animals, working with his father and grandfather, enjoying his mother’s delicious cooking, and getting into mischief with his friends. His storytelling could captivate a room and make everyone laugh.

elevated YV9s9 Francesco immigrated to Canada in 1955. He worked hard to save enough for his beloved Linda to join him in Canada. They married in 1958 and built their life together in Agincourt around family. Francesco enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. His passions were his garden, cooking, and his family, which all brought him great joy. The traditions of his homeland were an important part of his life, and every year he made tomato sauce, wine, and sausages. Francesco was a hard worker, strong willed, and steadfast in his principles. He will be dearly missed and forever loved and remembered.
