With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Francesco Di Gasbarro, who entered into the presence of the Lord on October 28, 2026, at the age of 91.

elevated ZpscR Francesco was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose quiet strength, gentle spirit, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His compassion, humility, and acceptance of others reflected the life he believed God called him to live. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the memories he created, and the love he shared with those around him.

elevated ZpscR A captivating storyteller, Francesco loved sharing stories of his experiences as a farmer, butcher, factory worker, and in the construction industry. His stories reflected his strong work ethic, his ability to find solutions, and his appreciation for the simple things in life.

elevated ZpscR Francesco and his beloved wife, Filomena, shared 62 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centred on faith, love, and family.

elevated ZpscR Above all, Francesco’s greatest joy was his family. He was a loving father to Nadia and Rolando, a cherished father-in-law to Lisette, and a proud grandfather to Lily, Ella Rose, and Jack. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments, supporting them through life’s challenges, and always being there when they needed him. Through his words and actions, he taught them the importance of hard work, kindness, faith, and family. The lessons he shared and the example he set will remain with them always.

elevated ZpscR We will miss his gentle smile, his humour, his stories, his steady presence, and the love he gave so freely.

elevated ZpscR Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the gift of his life and the example he set for his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him.
