elevated LXMv1 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco Internicola on Sunday May 24, 2020, in Scarborough Ontario, in his 90th year.

elevated LXMv1 Francesco was a devoted husband to his wife Giovanna for 63 years whom he loved and cared for through all their marriage.

elevated LXMv1 He was a good , generous, kind and loving husband and father and will never be forgotten and loved always by his family.

elevated LXMv1 He was the youngest of five , 2 brothers and 2 sisters whom he loved and cared about and shared his life with and always thought about even after their death.

elevated LXMv1 He had two older brothers, Vito and Anthony. He had two older sisters Francesca and Nina.He had great love for all his nephews and nieces and told endless stories of his good times snd adventures with them and his family in Sicily where they all lived until he immigrated to Canada in 1958.

elevated LXMv1 He had great love for his mother, Anna, and for his father, Salvatore.God bless your souls always.

elevated LXMv1 He also had great admiration for his brother in laws and sister in laws and all their families.They were very loved and respected by him.

elevated LXMv1 He will be very dearly missed by his children; Salvatore, Anna , Rita ,and his son in laws  Andrew Komisar and Dean Merendino , and Sara Bardales and other extended family members .

elevated LXMv1 He will always be remembered and loved by his grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart , Michael Internicola, Francesco Internicola, Christopher Komisar, Joanna Komisar, Jade Merendino and Julian Merendino .

elevated LXMv1 Francesco will be missed by many of his  friends and other relatives whom he always cared for and thought highly about.

elevated LXMv1 He will forever be remembered as a kind man who loved his family with all his heart, a hard worker and strong intelligent person,  gd provider, who faced impossible odds growing up in war ravaged sicily in poverty with only the minimun things to survive working from a very young childhood age, he  served in the military with honourable discharge, immigrated to Canada and worked long and hard hrs in tough conditions to make a life for himself and family, in which he was successful. Through his life he always helped his freinds and family with their needs as well, God willing and if he could.

elevated LXMv1 His character is and was an inspiration to everyone who knew this great and beloved man.

elevated LXMv1 May the Good and Glorious Lord grant him peace and happiness in the afterlife. Amen.

elevated LXMv1 Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID 19, a private family service will take place with arrangements entrusted to Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home.
