elevated kfxB8 Obituary

elevated kfxB8 In Loving Memory of Francesco Landolfi, 87, of Woodbridge, ON., who passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, in the company of his loving wife Maria.

elevated kfxB8 Francesco, or “Ciccio” as he was fondly called by his close family and friends, was born in Latina, Provincia di Caserta, Italia on October 1, 1937. He immigrated to Canada in his mid 20s, after proudly completing his military training in Italy, to join Maria, “Angelina”, in Toronto whom he would soon marry in 1962. He was devoted beyond measure to his beloved wife of 63 years, whom he would lovingly call, Juli. Their marriage was a true partnership built on deep love and mutual respect, and they were always by each other’s side.

elevated kfxB8 He had a gift for conversation, loved being the center of attention, always had something to say or a story to tell, and had a voice that filled every room he entered. Never shy, he could befriend anyone who he came in contact with and haggle with the best of them. He will also be remembered for his prosciutto, sausage and wine making skills that he brought here from Italy, and somehow perfected them. He was always happy and proud to serve some to everyone who would come to visit him.

elevated kfxB8 He was a hard worker from the moment he arrived in Toronto and soon found a job at a biscuit factory with the help of a cousin. With dedication and perseverance he was promoted to Production Manager and earned the title of Master Baker years before retiring at the age of 62.

elevated kfxB8 A deeply proud father to his sons, Carmine and Joe, father-in-law to Vicky and Lisa, and grandfather to Sarah, Sofia and Lucas. All of whom who will miss him deeply.

elevated kfxB8 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Hospice Vaughan, Alzheimer’s Society, or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
