Loving grandfather to Francesca(Chris), Franco(Julia), Sophia(Matt), Michael(Sarah), Julia, JohnPaul and David.Great Grandfather to Elliott, Myra and Sierra. Brother-in law to Donato(Simone), Querico (Anttoineta), Matteo(Theresa), Nicolo(Piera), Bridgitte (The late Pietro), and Margerita(Quirico). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Maria, Stefanno, Benedetta, Giuliano, Giuseppe and Analisa, Maria, Antonio, Lucia, Gabriele, Maria, and Graziela. His life was always centred around family and close friends: Quirico and Maria, Cirro and Patricia, Franco and Giovanna, Pino and Vitalba, Giocamo and Maria, Memino and Luchia, Pino and Laura, Armondo and Maria, Maria and Pietro, Teresa and the late Michaele, and Joey Convertini and his father “Pepino” in Niagra Falls. A special Thank you to Dr Sy, who gave great medical care to Franco for almost 30 years. His friends are invited to join the family at the Assumption funeral home 6993 Tomken Road Mississauga. Visitation is Friday June 10th, 2:00-4:00PM, and 6:00-8:00PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 Am on Saturday June 11th at the Assumption chapel. In memory of Francesco, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

Sending my deepest condolences to Rosa and family. My parents were cousins (the late Paolo and Maria Scarafile) of Rosa and were always very fond of Franco and Rosas family. I too have many childhood memories of his happy go lucky spirit, funny sense of humour and big smile. It is with deep regret that I was unable to attend and pay my last respects to Franco on behalf of myself and in honour of my late parents. I am sending you all my sincerest sympathies with love and prayers for Franco’s beautiful soul. May he rest in eternal peace.
