elevated 7WXS2 Sansalone, Francesco Maria – Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. Beloved husband to Susan for 57 wonderful years. Cherished father to Joseph (Linda). Adored grandfather of Stevie and Sylvia. Brother to Vittoria, Rosetta, the late Nicodemo, and Domenico. Brother-in-law to Frank, Helen, Nicky, Isabel, and the late Rose.
elevated 7WXS2 It is with very heavy hearts that our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral with our immediate family, to honor of our dearly departed, Francesco.
elevated 7WXS2 This decision was made due to the evolving status of COVID-19. We have chosen to do this in order to minimize the threat of spreading the coronavirus. Ultimately, we recognize that the health and safety of our loved ones comes first.
elevated 7WXS2 Sending your love and support at this time is very appreciated, and we welcome your messages of condolence. However, we do not want anyone to put their health and safety at risk.
elevated 7WXS2 In lieu of flowers, donations of mass cards would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.
Joseph, we were very saddened to hear of your father’s passing. You have been a caring, loving son and Linda has been right there by your side, supportive in every way.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Susan who has been the most devoted wife.

Thank you Marilyn and Bill. It has been a very long and difficult year, most especially the last 4 months. Time will dull the pain, but never the memories.
We are very sorry for your loss. Your father was a wonderful man and he will be missed. Hopefully when things get better we will go visit your mom. Please give her our love.

Our thoughts, our love and our prayers go out to Susan, and all the family. Frank was a wonderful neighbour and friend. Carol and I will miss him dearly. So many memories over the last few years as we grew to know both Frank and Susan.

Dear Joseph, Linda, Susan and Family – I was so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. He was such a kind man and I will always remember his wonderful smile that would light up his face anytime he greeted me at family gatherings – so welcoming. I know how deeply you will all miss him. Thank you Olga and Martino. My dad loved to be with family and I agree with you that he had a wonderful smile. Even in the hospital, when he wasn’t sleeping, he always had a smile for the doctors and nurses.
