In the early morning of November 12 2023, Francesco “Frank” Pellegrino passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Frank was 82 years old.
elevated 9GIHQ Frank was born in Siderno Marina, Calabria to Antonio and Teresa Pellegrino. He immigrated to Canada in 1956 and opened his construction company in 1976. He leaves behind a legacy of many successful community construction projects including community centres, arenas, schools, and EMS facilities across the GTA. He was truly dedicated to his family and his craft.
elevated 9GIHQ Frank is survived by his wife Anna Marie, his children Matthew and Francesca, and his grandchildren Alessandro and Giorgia.
elevated 9GIHQ His family would like to thank the Palliative care team of Markham Stouffville Hospital for the comfort they gave Frank during his last 4 days of life. Also nurse Tamara, Dr. Efosa Igbinovia and all the home health care team that assisted in caring for Frank.
elevated 9GIHQ Visitation will be held on Friday November 17, 2023 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Mass will be held on Saturday November 18, 2023 at 9:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery
elevated 9GIHQ In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Frank to Parkinson Canada or Markham Stouffville Hospital.

Matthew and Family my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sadness. The Lord has called your dear father home. His pain and suffering is no longer May he rest peacefully as he travels to the next part of his journey. Your father touched many lives and stories will be told. Hold on to those memories as well as your own to find the comfort you need to carry you through the time ahead. He’s watching from the heavens now as your guardian angel. God bless.
