elevated 3nqlL Francis passed away in the latter part of his 93^rd year. He will be dearly missed by his beloved and devoted wife Alice of more than 70 years. He was a committed father of eight children and a caring grandfather.  Francis will be lovingly remembered by many members of his extended family. He was a devoted family man, with a positive and passionate attitude towards life. A hard-working immigrant with a strong work ethic, he was determined to overcome the obstacles that life presented him. Francis was a generous and self-sacrificing individual who readily helped others in need. He was a scholar in his own right: always well-read and well-informed. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, located at 211 Langstaff Road East, in Thornhill, on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 4 pm – 8 pm. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at the Chapel of St. Joseph, located at 211 Langstaff Road East, in Thornhill, on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 12 noon.
