elevated 4k8FX With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Franica Ćaćić, who departed this life on August 27, 2025, at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old.
elevated 4k8FX Franica was born on October 12, 1945, in Čara, Korčula, Croatia. In 1964, she married her beloved husband, Joso Ćaćić, with whom she shared 61 beautiful years of marriage, raising a close-knit family grounded in love, faith, and tradition.
elevated 4k8FX She was a devoted mother to Ante (Liz), Dragica (Joško), and Ivan (Stephanie), and a proud and loving grandmother to Marijana, Josip, Joško Jr., Nikola, Stjepan, Luka, Leo, and Logan.
elevated 4k8FX Franica worked as a hairdresser, but her life’s true passion was caring for her family. She had a gift for gardening, a love for cooking, and a deep joy in spending time with her grandchildren—whom she helped raise and cherished with all her heart.
elevated 4k8FX She was a wonderful grandmother, a quiet guiding presence, and a source of constant love in the lives of those around her. Franica lived her life rooted in her Catholic faith and the rich traditions of her Croatian heritage. She prayed the rosary daily and found strength and peace in her unwavering devotion to God.
elevated 4k8FX Her legacy is one of gentleness, humility, and love. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
