It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Edward Anzelc, surrounded by the love of his children at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 90.
elevated Ca10h Beloved husband of Marilyn (Jasmins) for 68 wonderful years. Loving father of Wendy (Bashar), Judy (Brian), Marion (predeceased), Jacquie (Joe), and Greg. Cherished Poppa to Jeff (Farzana), Jamie, Daniel (Linda), Christian, Lauren (Kenny), Brennan, and Kristen (Tyler). Dear brother of Frances and Norma. Frank will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and colleagues.
elevated Ca10h Frank was born on July 11, 1936, in Timmins, Ontario, to Frank and Pavlina. Deeply kind, generous, and devoted to others, Frank lived a life guided by compassion, hard work, and faith. He often reflected with gratitude on the many paths his career had taken, finding fulfillment as a banker, police officer, and ultimately as a respected and awarded realtor whose career spanned more than five decades. Throughout his life, he took great pride in helping people achieve their goals.
elevated Ca10h A deeply spiritual man, Frank dedicated countless hours to serving his community through the St. Vincent de Paul Society, quietly helping those in need and ensuring they were treated with dignity and respect. His generosity extended far beyond volunteer work; he was a trusted advisor, mentor, and caring neighbour whose wisdom and encouragement touched many lives. With a keen interest in current affairs, Frank valued staying informed and enjoyed engaging family and friends in thoughtful conversations about the events shaping his community and the world.
elevated Ca10h Frank’s greatest joy was his family. He delighted in every opportunity to gather with his children and grandchildren to celebrate milestones and create lasting memories. A natural storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor, he loved making people laugh, often delighting his grandchildren by adopting different personas when calling them on the phone. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Raptors, celebrating victories and enduring defeats with equal passion.
elevated Ca10h An accomplished accordion player in his youth, Frank brought music to many weddings, celebrations, and family gatherings. His lifelong love of jazz remained a source of pleasure and inspiration. Together, Frank and Marilyn enjoyed many memorable travels, embracing new experiences and adventures while strengthening the bond they shared.
elevated Ca10h In recent years, Frank demonstrated extraordinary devotion to Marilyn through her illness, faithfully visiting and caring for her every day. His unwavering love, commitment, and selflessness were a testament to the remarkable partnership they built over nearly seven decades together.
elevated Ca10h A man of integrity, kindness, faith, and quiet strength, Frank leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and service. He lived fully, cared deeply, and made a lasting difference in the lives of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.

Frank was a wonderful uncle and was deeply loved by the entire Jasmins clan. When Nick arrived in Canada in the 1950s to begin a new life, Frank became my dad’s best friend, offering him friendship, support, and a true sense of family. When Frank married my dad’s sister, Marilyn, our two families were forever joined together. We take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with my dad in heaven, sharing laughter and good times once again. Uncle Frank will be dearly missed by all of us.
Such a beautiful tribute, I do remember him getting the accordion out, that was fun stuff🥰
He will truly be missed and I am grateful for all the kindness and support he’s shown my mom and I over the years.

Uncle Frank was the true embodiment of kindness and generosity. Every moment I was lucky enough to spend with him he spread light and joy throughout. At this moment I think of how proud his 4 children (my dear cousins) must be in their time of grief, as he modeled the integrity and dedication that characterizes them. His love and dedication to my dear Aunt Marilyn (my father Andrew’s sister) had no bounds and serves as tremendous inspiration. We will miss Uncle Frank dearly.
Frank will always be lovingly remembered by everyone in our family. Frank and Nick rests forever more in peace and enjoying God’s Heavenly Rewards. They are always alive in our hearts with love. ❤

Be comforted that as a man of faith he is now with God and Mother Mary and with those in his family that went before him. He is in a better place looking after each of you. Treasure his memory.

I was so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing.. He always took the time to talk to me about my latest cruise. It got to be a joke. He was also our real estate agent when we came from Montreal. He was a very kind man. May he rest in peace.

I was sorry to learn of Frank’s passing. Frank was a longtime member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Nativity of Our Lord and made a significant contribution to our mission of helping those less fortunate. I enjoyed our talks and his contributions at out meetings. Rest in peace Frank.
I worked with Frank on my first deal in real estate back in 19 72a long story but he was a true gentleman we where not close friends but we were always friends David Mc Onie
Uncle Frank was simply the best uncle a niece could ever have. Generous, hospitable, fun, smart, and always ready to listen and offer a caring and wise perspective. The highlight of my youth was spending time at Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Frank’s, and finding laughter and fun there with them and my wonderful cousins. As an adult, I truly enjoyed our visits and chats. My husband, Jean-Paul, who met him later in life, always remarked on and has been deeply touched by Uncle Frank’s warmth and kindness. We will both miss him dearly and cherish all the memories. Sending love to all of you.
