elevated ZBnDV Obituary
elevated ZBnDV Frank died peacefully with his family by his side. He was married to Luke (Aleida Smaak), was a proud father to June and Eric, an outstanding Opa (grandfather) to Bradley, Sebastian and Nicoletta, an embracing father-in-law to Anastasia, a big brother to Therese, Corrine, Jeannette, Ria and a good friend to many. Frank had a presence and charm that lit up a room with his aqua blue eyes and big smile. He had a marvellous sense of humour and was equally at ease having a conversation with anyone from toddler to peer.
elevated ZBnDV Frank spoke English, Dutch, German and French fluently, loved to travel, was an avid gymnast in his youth, and enjoyed tennis, cross-country skiing, bicycling, croquet, bridge, and in his latter years, sudoku. Frank was a voracious reader and the only thing that ever brought him to tears was classical music. He played and had fun with his grandchildren as if he was one of them. Frank had a fulfilling and interesting life, reaching the wonderful age of 92. We’ll miss his grand smile, happy demeanor, and positive outlook on life. May he rest in peace. We loved him very much.
