elevated hb2y0 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Frigyes Rosta on October 6, 2021. After a courageous four year battle with cancer, Frigyes passed away at his home in the loving arms of his wife and daughters. Dedicated and loving family man, Frigyes is preceded in death by his father, Ferenc Rosta, and his mother Etel Turi, and is survived by his wife of 28 years, Blanche; daughters Eszter and Erika; and brother Imre.

elevated hb2y0 Though he was taken too soon, comfort can be found knowing that Frigyes had the opportunity to fulfill many of his hopes and dreams. Born in Szemenye, Hungary, living a number of years in Nürnberg, Germany, and finally immigrating to Tkaronto, Canada in 1989, Frigyes worked long and hard to build a new life on this Treaty land he was so grateful to call home. A proud Magyar, Frigyes held love and friendships in the Toronto Hungarian community, passionately ensuring that his daughters were in touch with their roots. Frigyes also held so much love for his wife Blanche and her family, similarly being involved with their Chinese heritage, fostering a beautifully blended space of culture and tradition for his children.

elevated hb2y0 Brilliant and skilled mechanical engineer; avid outdoorsman and camper; lover of heavy metal; live music, fine arts; and proud husband, father, brother, and friend, Frigyes leaves many to mourn with warm memories. Frigyes will be forever loved and missed.

elevated hb2y0 In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Dying with Dignity Canada in memory of Frigyes would be greatly appreciated by the family.
