It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Gabriel Joseph Cavalluzzi, age 36, on February 28, 2026.
elevated v6SRa Born March 30, 1989 in Mississauga, Gabe was the beloved father of Felix (4) and Julien (3) who were the centre of his world. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by them alongside his wife Claire, his parents, Mike and Kelly; his sister, Sarah (Colin); and his brother Chris (Parvin). He will also be missed in love by his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, nieces and nephews, and his long standing friends.
elevated v6SRa Gabe found joy in life’s simple pleasures – time spent in nature, picnics by the lake, bike rides and dog walks, enjoying good food with family and friends, completing a job well done with his brother, time spent at home, weekend getaways, and getting behind the wheel of his Hellcat.
elevated v6SRa Being a father was Gabe’s greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Felix and Julien will forever hold close the memory of their “Dada” and will carry forward his adventurous spirit, curiosity, and boundless love.
elevated v6SRa Though his life was far too short, his family finds comfort in knowing how many lives Gabe touched with his kind caring heart, his genuine warmth, and his loyalty. Though he is gone far too soon, Gabe’s love and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
