It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of
Gaetano Capitano on May 26, 2026, at Brampton Civic Hospital, at the age
of 82.
elevated tVckw Beloved husband of 63 years to Giuseppina. Gaetano was a devoted and
loving father to Liliana (Luigi), Enzo, Angelo (Cindy), and Carmen
(Veronica). Gaetano is now reunited in heaven with his son George, his
parents Vincenzo and Calogera, and his precious little puppy Bianca.
elevated tVckw Proud Nonno to Justine (Michael), Ashley (Trevor), Samantha (Jesse),
Gaetano (Stephanie), Alessandra (Matthew), Emilie, Isabella, Sophia, and
Nicholas. Adored bisnonno to Hudson, Savannah, Eliana, Parker, Averie,
and Santino. Dear brother to Antonia (Nicola pre-deceased), Grazia
(Giovanni pre-deceased), Giuseppina (Cosmo), Mario (Raffaela), Peter
(Mina), and Renato (Afroula). Gaetano dedicated many years of his life
as a baker, where he was respected for his professionalism, dedication,
and kindness.
elevated tVckw He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family,
friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth and
compassion touched many lives, and his memory will live on in the hearts
of those he leaves behind.
