elevated hmhB5 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gaspare Garisto, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, on April 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on March 17, 1944 in Vallelonga, Calabria, Italy to Francesco and Maria. He was a brother to Mary, his late sister Rose (Domenic) and Bruno (Cheryl). Gaspare spent his life in service to his family and his work.
elevated hmhB5 Gaspare was a dedicated business owner, known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. He poured his energy into his profession, always striving to provide the best for his loved ones. His industrious spirit served as an inspiring example to all who knew him.
elevated hmhB5 Above all else, Gaspare was a family man. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Huguette, and his children, Jennifer (Alfredo), Michelle (Alexander), and Justin (Nada). His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. He was also a proud grandfather to Kristen, Antonio, Livia, Gabriel, Gaspare and Victor, who brought immense happiness to his life. Gaspare was a loving father who worked tirelessly to ensure his family’s well-being and happiness.
elevated hmhB5 Beyond his dedication to his family and work, Gaspare had a passion for cars and music. He found pleasure in mechanics and design, and took every opportunity to socialize and dance. Gaspare’s memory will be held dear in the hearts of his family and friends. His hard work, love, and devotion will be deeply missed.

My dearest friend, Gaspare, we have known each other for over 60 years with Al, Vince, John and myself, as in our teenage years all the dances we used to attend and the great picnics we used to have, and we managed to keep in touch all these years, you will be greatly missed my dear friend.
I’m heartbroken to hear about Gaspare. He was truly one of a kind, always full of joy, laughter, and love. His bright spirit lit up every room, and I feel lucky to have known someone so genuinely kind and full of life. I hope the love he shared stays with everyone he’s touched!

Your family was such a big part of my life growing up. I remember pool parties, dinners and joint outings with our families. You were always more like cousins vs. friends. I will never forget when Gaspare dove in to save me from drowning. I am so deeply saddened to hear that he was suffering and offer my deepest condolences to you all as you deal with this immense loss. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
