elevated T4Mxn George Ki Yan Wong, beloved husband of Wendy, cherished father of Patricia and Alex and father-in-law of Brad and Cyndi, loving grandfather of Nicholas, Ryan and Kennedy, passed away on June 8, 2018.

elevated T4Mxn George had many loves: family, travelling, cars, music, sports, songwriting, the outdoors. He lived life to the fullest. Born in Hong Kong, he was the sixth of eight siblings. He met and married Wendy, his soul mate. He was an alumni of St. Joseph’s Boys School, worked at Peat Marwick and joined the Hong Kong Police. He was the special assistant to the Police Commissioner and was the Chief Driving Examiner for the Hong Kong Police. He wrote a book about his life in the Hong Kong Police Force which is in its 4th printing. In 1971 he immigrated to Canada to join the RCMP Asian Crime Squad.

elevated T4Mxn He was always very inventive and creative. He designed a racing car bed, modular furniture, unique toys and was involved in numerous business adventures which included owning a marina and a restaurant. He was the chinese lyricist for an opera, Iron Road. Those who knew George will recognize his tireless energy, kindness, willingness to help and  knew him as someone that everyone can always depend on.

elevated T4Mxn Luncheon will be at 2pm at Dragon Boat Restaurant

Note: Please park at the lower level on the east side of the restaurant where The Keg is situated.
The parking spaces are marked but not numbered and there is a parking ticket issuing station nearby. After you park please remember NOT TO GET A TICKET from the station and DO NOT PAY. Go straight to the restaurant and once inside there is a monitor stand where you enter your car licence number, and your parking will be free. We will have an attendant to help direct you to the correct area.
