It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Georgette Zaccak, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and the cherished matriarch of our family.
Georgette was larger than life. She was the heart of our family, our guiding light, and a mother to us all. Her unwavering love, strength, generosity, and wisdom shaped generations, and her home was a place where everyone felt welcomed, comforted, and deeply loved.
Georgette leaves behind her loving children: Juliana (Samir), Darius (Angela), Ibrahim (Mary), Anita (Dino), and Rania (Terry). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Randa (Mark), Lina (Narbe), Danielle, Julian, Nicholas, Jaymes, Isabella, Alessandro, Georgia, Andrew, and Thomas. She was also the adored great-grandmother of Anthony, Alexander, Sophie, Juliette, and George, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Georgette has been welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and is reunited with her beloved Farid in eternal peace. She will be forever missed, forever loved, and forever in our hearts. Her legacy will live on through the family she nurtured and the countless lives she touched.
Those who wish to honour Georgette’s memory are asked to consider making a donation to her beloved St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, which was close to her heart. May her memory be eternal; may her soul dwell in peace and light forever.

We’re deeply sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. Even though she lived a long and full life, saying goodbye is incredibly hard. I will always cherish the memory of visiting her at her place in Toronto four years ago – she was so wonderful and remembered us how we used to play in Darius’s room in Beirut in the 60s and 70s. Sending you so much love to the entire and extended Zaccak family.
We are so sad to know of the passing of our dear Georgette..she was a beautiful person and a great friend. We share in your sorrow but know that she is now resting in peace with our Lord.
