It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry (Gerardo) Compierchio. He was called to God on November 30, 2025. He passed peacefully with his family by his side at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Loving husband of Lynsey since 1997. Beloved father of Anthony (Madison), Christopher (Sky), and Michael (Kelly). Loving son of Amedeo and Antonietta. Dearest sibling of Maria (Afzal) and Frank.
Jerry’s passions included Formula 1 racing, Hockey, and Golf, but he loved nothing more than quality time at the cottage with his family.
Friendships were also important to Jerry, and his friends will remember him for his kindness and compassion.
Jerry will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by extended family and friends in Italy, the USA, and Scotland.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Brampton Civic Hospital’s Oncology and Palliative Care departments.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Jerry’s name to Hockey Fights Cancer.
May he find eternal rest and peace.

He was such a kind, living and gentle soul. He treated everyone with reverence, compassion and kindness. Always the first to offer help and assistance whenever needed. I will miss our spirited conversations about our respective F1 teams. But most of all I will miss his laugh and his kind smile. Love you, you will be sorely missed
