It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of Gilda Maria Belchior in Aurora at the age 78 surrounded by the love of her family.  Gilda was born in Azores, Portugal to parents Belmira and Joao Do Rego Nunes. She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Antonio Belchior (passed 2023). Loving mother to Goreta Belchior, Patricia Belchior, Sonia (Nick) Macri and Claudia (Marcello) Matrundola.  Adored Vovó of Katherina (Andre), Markus, Anthony, Sandro, Ava, Alessio, Giorgio and Valentina.  She was a dear sister of Antonio (Lucilia) Nunes and dear sister to Maria Fatima Pimentel. She was loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews.
