elevated 5EoML Born on February 10, 1933 in Alcamo, Trapani, Sicily, Italy and peacefully passed away on January 9, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 62 years to Enza. Caring and devoted father to Sabina (Elvis) and Carlo (Jude). Proud Nonno to Romeo, Sabrina, Alessia, Marco and Matteo. Gioacchino will be reunited in heaven with his parents Carlo and Sabina, sister Caterina (Antonio) and brothers Giuseppe (Lina) and Stefano (Tanina). He will be lovingly remembered by his brother and sister in laws, many nieces, nephews and family and friends.
elevated 5EoML The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 2:00 -4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday January 13, 2022. A Private Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday January 14, 2022 by invitation only due to the COVID restriction. The final rite of committal and entombment will take place privately at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill).
