elevated iZk05 It is with great sadness that the Iannacci family announces the passing of its Patriarch in his 89th year on September 26, 2022 peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for over 60 years, he leaves behind his dear and loving wife, Luisa. Cherished father to Anna (Domenic Primucci), Gilda and Paola (Danny Battista). Proud Nonno of Joseph, Daniel (Renée), Luca (Valentina), Stephanie, Gregory, Robert and great-grandfather to Domenico, Massimo and Simona. Predeceased by his grandson Gianluca and brother-in-laws Aurelio and Sergio; Giovanni is survived by his sisters Pina and Eleonora and sister-in-laws Annita (Tommaso Miscione) and Silvia. A dear zio, cousin and friend, he will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families. He will also be missed by his dedicated caregivers: Joanne and Jane. The family is especially moved and grateful for the wonderful support of Dr. Bianca Petrut, Dr. Erick Ling and Dr. Phillip Fingrut. The passing of the day into sunset
Setting rays of the sun shimmering on the land
Saying farewell to the hustle and the bustle
Settling in for the night’s events and rest
Once a sparkling bright star in the sky
For all that were close and loved him, to see
Unknown by many yet felt in presence by some
Marked the earth with John’s light
Mourn one shouldn’t
For with his passing comes a new awakening
All loved him then, and love him now
His passing is but a beginning
Now he lays down for a rest from a weary journey
Not to be felt sorry for but to be rejoiced in
The day’s events are now a shadow
Another happening comes forth for him to shine in.
