Giovanni Sorrentino passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Toronto Western Hospital. He is now reunited with his beloved parents, Virginia and Giuseppe, and his brother Pietro.
Giovanni is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Rosaria. He was the cherished father of Franca (Renato), Dino (Anita), Maria, and Joe (Diane). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Stephen, Jessica, Robert, Johnathan (Morgan), Jessica (Marek), Marcus, Matthew (Maggie), David, John, Alison, Christopher, and Victoria.
Giovanni will be forever loved, remembered, and held in the hearts of all who knew him.

Signor Sorrentino always made me feel welcome during my numerous visits to my dear chum Maria over the past 30 years. It was a privilege to enjoy an espresso with this fine gentleman. His kindness will always be cherished.
