My beautiful Aunt Giovannina was one of the most important persons in my life. She was always – always so kind and loving. She became like a second mother to me after my own mother passed away. She helped our family so much during that time and I will remember her always.
She took me into her home in December 1969, when I first arrived from Italy. With my uncle Iginio. she helped me navigate the intricacies of a new life in a foreign land. To my dear aunt Giovannina and my uncle Iginio I owe a great part of what I was able to accomplish. Always generous and kind, I shall miss her deeply.
