Cara Ninetta
You are the strongest woman I know, the solid rock in our family, our Matriarch! Life has thrown so much at you, more than anyone could endure, and you still rose above with all your strength. Thank you for the endless love you gave us, and for raising us. You were the only one that embraced us and guided us when we needed a mother, and always made sure we were okay. Thank you for the countless chicken soup with hotdogs everyday for lunch, our weekly trip to Miracle Food Mart and Steinburg, always giving us 5cents for the bubblegum machine. Sorry for letting your chickens loose in the backyard and for knocking down your shower wall.. it was Sandy’s fault, she made me do it, while Sonia sat there quietly. The memories are endless, just like the love you gave us, up until the end.
Today we celebrate you and the life you’ve taught us💞
Rest well Ninetta. I will miss you forever.
I love you ,I love you,I love you ,I love you Chickee

I/we have been so fortunate to have you in my/our life for all these years. You loved all of us and our families unconditionally. You never missed a grandchild’s or great-grandchild’s birthday (and we are so many). You always had a little something to share with us, cookies, candy, loose change but our favourite was all those kisses! I loved how you had nicknames for all of us, Lib’s is still my favourite. Your smile was so contagious, you were always smiling, it was obvious that there was nothing more important to you than your family. I will never forget the phone calls, visits with espresso, and the I love you, I love you, I love you goodbyes. I will miss you Ninetta, but I know you are at peace with your children and Nonno whom you have longed for everyday since they left us. You are finally reunited with Nonno and your Santina, Lidia, Natalina, Filomena and your Gino, and I know this brings you so much tranquility and joy. Your strength is like no other, the loss and heartache you have had to endure all these years has finally come to an end. Until we meet again you will be forever in our hearts. I love you, I love you, I love you Ninetta 😘.
To our dear mother, we are torn between the sadness of letting you go and the joy it brings knowing that you are reunited with our father and brother and sisters. Your constant anguish over the loss of your children was so painful to listen to everyday. None of us can imagine what it was like to have lived in your shoes. It was the last, Gino’s death, that really affected you the most and it was his passing which we believe led your rapid decline in health. It brings us peace that you can now spend eternity knowing that he and your other children are free and happy. The joy they must feel to have you with them, be in each other’s presence without any worry or guilt. You have taken back your place in their lives and I know the love you feel now and love you have for the rest of us will keep us together much stronger than ever before. Thank you Ma for giving us your strength and teaching us what it means to love your family. We love you and miss you. Until we meet again…..
