elevated TIK3Y Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppa Posca on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born on September 7, 1934 to the late Leone and Rosina Anania in Isca Sullo Ionio, Italy. She married her beloved late husband Pietro Bruno Posca. She is loved dearly by her children Teresa (Giovanni), Rosetta and Rosario (Anna) and cherished by her grandchildren Sara (Roberto), Francesco (Federica), Gabrielle, Natalie (Jan), Michael, Alyssa and Bruno. She was a proud and loving great-grandmother to Alessandro, Ginevra, Dalila, Giovanni and Allegra. She had 5 siblings and will be reunited with the late Bruno, Maria, Caterina and Domenico. She will be greatly missed by her only surviving brother Antonio (Concetta) and by her sister-in-law Maria. Her contagious smile will be missed by the countless other family members and friends that she so profoundly affected.
elevated TIK3Y Giuseppa immigrated to Canada in 1965. She lived in Montreal for 4 years then moved to Toronto where she worked as a seamstress for over 30 years. She was a devout Catholic, never missing a Sunday mass and always willing to volunteer for hours of adoration at the church. She was an integral part of the prayer group and always had a Rosary close at hand. Although her dementia had taken away her recent memories, she never forgot her prayers. In fact, she could recite hundreds of different passages without missing a beat!
elevated TIK3Y Mom, you will forever be etched in our hearts. Our love for you has no end. Although your life on this earth has ended, take solace in knowing that God has a special place in Heaven waiting for you. Your pain and suffering has ended. You may now rest in peace.

Dear Mom,
Even when you are not close by, I am hugging you always. I want you to know I love you and appreciate you. I will remember your beautiful smile everyday and say when I look up above “ smiling right back at you.” I’ll miss you, until we meet again❤️🙏❤️
My sincere condolences to the entire family.
Please know that a mother’s love will stay with you always—first in her lifetime, and then forever in your memories. Her wisdom and spirit will continue to guide, even after she is gone. The light she shared and that contagious smile will forever shine brightly in the hearts of all that knew her and in the lives of those she touched. May you find strength and comfort in the love she gave, and the lasting impact she made on everyone around her. I pray that God show her mercy and may she rest in peace in the presence of the Lord.
Beautiful biography.
May the strength of our fond memories provide comfort and support during this difficult time.
🙏♥️
