elevated wn84U It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppe Chiappetta, who peacefully passed away on September 14, 2026 at the age of 93.

elevated wn84U Giuseppe was a devoted Husband, loving Dad, cherished Nonno and Bisnonno, and a beloved Brother. He will be fondly remembered for his love of  family and friends gathering together. He was proud of his garden and had a passion for making wine, salami and tomato sauce.

elevated wn84U Giuseppe arrived in Canada in October of 1961 and  worked religiously ensuring that his family was well provided for.

elevated wn84U Giuseppe is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Esterina, who predeceased him on December 8, 2016.

elevated wn84U He will be deeply missed by his four daughters, Amalia (Frank), Laurina, Anna (Rui) and Susie (Pasquale), his grandchildren, Vanessa (Marco),  Felicia, Maria (Jaz), Victoria, Sarah, Christian and Joseph, as well as his beloved great granddaughters Elora and Keira.

elevated wn84U He was a devoted brother to Luigi (Linda), Emilio (Silvana), Rosa (Umile) and his sister in law Fiorina (Carmine,pre-deceased). He was loved by all his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

elevated wn84U  Giuseppe will be reunited in Heaven with open arms by all his family that has gone before him.

elevated wn84U The family would like to thank all of the staff of Villa Leonardo Gambin where he resided for these past 5 years. He had become part of the Gambin Family who often described him as a gentle soul who was always kind and loving to all.  A special thank you to Stephanie, Sonia, Beata, Roxanne, Mandeep and all of the 5th floor nurses, supervisors, dieticians, PSW’s, and  janitorial staff.

elevated wn84U A special thank you to Samantha for the care and attention that was given to Giuseppe until his final days. Samantha has become an important part of our family
