elevated jydKD With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Father and Nonno, Giuseppe, while surrounded by family after a brief illness, on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He will now be reunited in Heaven with his dedicated wife, Nicolina, beloved daughter Rose, and his cherished parents, siblings and friends. He will be forever missed by his surviving daughter, Adriana and her husband Phil, and son-in-law, Rocco. Nonno Joe was beloved by many, but especially his grandchildren, Christine, her husband Enrico, Anthony, his wife Mariam, Jaclyn, and young great-grandchildren Catherine, Matthew and Amira.
Joe was a charismatic presence who loved new experiences. After time in Brazil, he settled in Canada where he built a life with his wife Nicolina and their two daughters. Always a hard worker, he was most proud of the time he spent mining in Thompson, Manitoba, and his contributions as a welder to the structure of the CN Tower. He loved soccer, hunting, and playing a round of cards with friends, especially with a great music soundtrack in the background.
As the song goes, we’ll think of you and the olden days, the happy golden days of yore, with love and gratitude for the Christmases and celebrations, and the love and support each day in between, until we meet again.
If so desired, donations in memory of Giuseppe may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

Sending sincere condolences to my dear cousins during this time of grief. Zio was such a strong presence in our family and we will truly miss him. We will always remember his warmth, his many great stories and his funny sense of humour. So many wonderful memories to last a lifetime. May he rest in peace and may God bring comfort at this difficult time to all of you. Love Candy, Paul, Veronica and Nick, Massimo and Emily. ♥
So many memories with Nonno Joe. He was a good man and will be greatly missed.
Adri, and family sending our deepest condolences in the passing of your dear dad may you rest in peace alongside your dear mom and your dear sister, Rose! Thinking and praying for you and your family during these difficult times!
From Montreal, Michael Cianciulli, (single), sending my condolences to all the family and relatives during this difficult time. I remember when Zio Joe and my dad (Nicola Cianciulli) would get to see each other, which obviously wasn’t often enough, given living in two different cities, like Candy wrote, the stories these two cousins would recall along with the sense of humour and that infectious laugh is something we will all miss. Rest in Peace, Zio Joe.
Sincerest condolences to all from the D’Uva family (Stephanie, Joshua, Dante and Giancarlo). May the memories he created be the legacy he leaves for those who remain to follow the example he has set. Hugs to all. Sending our prayers during this difficult time.
My heartfelt condolences to Adri and the entire family. Keeping you in my prayers at this difficult time.
