elevated ub9f2 With sadness, we announce the passing of Giuseppe Del Giudice on March 28, 2024 at the age of 90.
elevated ub9f2 Giuseppe was born to the late Elisabetta and Francesco Del Giudice in Argusto, Calabria, Italy. Giuseppe completed his studies in Roma and Torino before immigrating to Canada in 1956. He settled in Toronto where he lived with his beloved wife of 67 years, Marianna Paoletti.
elevated ub9f2 Giuseppe was the loving father to Frank (Dina), and Antonella (Tino). Cherished nonno to Vanessa, Alexander, Dino, Joseph (Laura) and Marianne (Angelo).
elevated ub9f2 Giuseppe, affectionately known as Pino by all who knew him, was a restauranteur for over 35 years owning several bars and restaurants in Toronto, most notably, the Colosseum Restaurant which he owned and operated with his 2 brothers.
elevated ub9f2 Giuseppe was an avid reader, well versed in history and culture, and he was passionate about soccer. Although Giuseppe lived in Canada for the majority of his life, he was immensely proud and had a deep love for his beloved home country of Italy.
elevated ub9f2 Giuseppe will be deeply missed by his siblings, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
elevated ub9f2 Charitable donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Alzheimer’s Society in Giuseppe’s honour.
Our sincerest condolences to the Del Giudice family. We were very blessed to have Pino as our neighbor for 35 years He will always be in our hearts and a part of our family. Thank you Pino for teaching us so much history. Our memories of your kind manner, love and joyful smile will stay with us forever. You will be greatly missed!

Le nostre piu’ sincere condoglianze alla cara moglie Nina e a tutta la famiglia Del Giudice.
Abbiamo appreso la morte del caro Pino con immenso dolore.
Abbiamo conosciuto Pino e sua moglie nel lontano 1996 quando ci siamo trasferiti dall’Italia qui in Canada e a Woodbridge.
Abbiamo conosciuto e apprezzato Pino non solo come vicino di casa ma come una persona molto gentile ed educata.
Abbiamo apprezzato il suo modo di essere Canadese ma sempre attaccato alle sue origini e alla sua Calabria che costantemente ha visitato fino a pochi anni orsono.
Cosa dire ancora, Pino ci mancherai come persona e come vicino di casa che sentivamo sempre presente.
Infondi a tua moglia Nina e a tutta la sua famiglia coraggio e forza per superare questo triste momento.
