elevated lYZiV Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving wife Shirley on May 10, 2019 at the age of 65. Beloved brother to Stephen (Shirely) and Yolanda (Jeremy). Joseph will be remembered in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made directly to the Yan family. In return the family will be donating to the Freeman Centre for the Advancement of Palliative Care at the North York General Foundation.

I am so sorry to hear about Joseph. I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to have dinner with the two of you a few months ago. Please know that you will be in my prayers and that I will celebrate Mass here in Detroit Saturday in communion with you and all who are able to be at his Funeral in Toronto.

The Jesus Club members and their families were blessed to have Joseph come and say a few words to us during our Christmas meal. Joseph always supported the Jesus Club in various ways and was encouraging to all its members .
Joseph will be truly missed.
