elevated BP6lQ Giuseppe Scardigno passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14th, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 76. He was born on March 11th, 1943, in Bari, Italy. Giuseppe is survived by his daughter Maria (her husband Eddie-Rey), his son Joseph (and his wife Jennifer) and the mother of his children, Cecilia. Giuseppe will remain in the hearts of his sisters, Maria & Alma, his brothers, Ettore and Vito and predeceased by his parents, Oreste & Giuseppina and brother Emilio. He is loved and remembered by his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and grand-puppies.

elevated BP6lQ Giuseppe will forever be remembered for his fun-loving personality, infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was immensely devoted to his children and extended family. 

elevated BP6lQ He will be dearly missed by Lucy and the staff at the North Pole Bakery on Danforth Avenue in Toronto, where he spent many years greeting and assisting customers and preparing food, which bought him great joy. He enjoyed family dinners every Sunday, and going out for Italian, Greek or Chinese, which were his favourites.

elevated BP6lQ A special thank you to the staff at the Thomas Residential Home and the Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence in Toronto for their loving care and support over the years and during his final days. 

elevated BP6lQ The visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2019, between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, followed by a service at the Chapel of St. Joseph (Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home) at 1:30 p.m. A private Cremation will take place in the days following the service.
