elevated XgwU3 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppe (Peppino) Milazzo. He passed away courageously with his loving and devoted wife, Caterina, by his side on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Norfinch Care Community in Toronto. He was a loving and dedicated father to Joseph (Suzan), Anthony (Cindy), and Mary Ann (Robert) and nonno to Luke, Emily, Thomas, James, and Katie. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews in Canada and overseas.
elevated XgwU3 Born in Cattafi, San Filippo del Mela, Sicily to Maria (Sgro) and Giuseppe Milazzo, the fifth of seven children and is survived by his big sister Giuseppa and younger brother Natale (Maria).
elevated XgwU3 He was a hardworking Ironworker, leaving his mark on much of the Toronto skyline we enjoy today, including the CN Tower. He was also skilled in autobody and loved to garden, watch Formula 1 with Sunday sugo on his lap, and play the guitar. His love for music and automobiles still runs strong through his family.
elevated XgwU3 We are grateful to all who cared for Giuseppe at Norfinch Care Community.
elevated XgwU3 He will be greatly missed.

My handsome Zio Joe, you will forever be in all our hearts. You played such an essential role in my wonderful childhood, and I thank you for that. We will miss your infectious smile and all around “coolness”.

Dear Zio Peppino, you have suffered a lot and now you have finally found peace. We will miss you so much and will never stop thinking about you. We will often think of your cheerfulness and your desire to joke. In particular, I will always remember you as the playful uncle who got angry when I called him “Zu” Pippinu. Everyone will miss you so much, your family and in particular Zia Caterina. She has always been close to you with so much love, like an angel and suffered not being able to see you during the pandemic… because unfortunately, in your suffering, you also had to experience the loneliness of the pandemic. You will always have a special place in your brother Natale’s heart.
