elevated tfo6M It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppina Baccin, (née Capano) on April 19, 2020, at her residence, Villa Leonardo Gambin, at the age of 88 from complications related to Covid-19.
elevated tfo6M Predeceased by her husband, Pietro Baccin, and loving mother to Luigi (Julie), Anna and Assunta. Beloved Nonna to six grandsons and one granddaughter and was soon to be a great-grandmother. Sister to Gaetana and Maria (predeceased). She will also be missed by her niece and nephews, extended family and friends.
elevated tfo6M Giuseppina was born in Montalto Uffugo in Cosenza, Calabria, and she had many stories to tell of her time growing up there. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and shared her knowledge freely. We will miss her many delicious dishes and desserts. She will be remembered as a smiling and loving person who enjoyed life, her hair appointments, and laughing, singing and dancing whenever she had the chance.

I hope you felt we were virtually here to support you and that you know we are really here to help you through this too.
Only time can soften the wound you have now. Though it will never close, it will heal little by little. Just know that we are here for you both and we love you very much.

Susie I will always remember your mother smiling and being welcoming even when I was a teenager with a Mohawk 🙂
She was all loving and was loved. I know her spirit lives on in you and Daniel and you will continue honouring her memory.
