It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppina (Josie) Ricci on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on February 1, 1960, Josie is the daughter of Maria Antonietta and Nicolangelo Serino.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Carlo after 50 beautiful years together. Her greatest aspiration in life was to be a mother, and she will forever be missed by her daughters, Nicole (Phillipe) and Giulia (Brinder). She loved being a Nonna to Romeo, Isabella, and Valentina.
To know her is to love her. She is a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend.

Josie was a warm and resilient young woman. Her empathy for everyone made her a unique individual. She was so wonderful to work with. I am sorry her retirement was cut so short. God bless!

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Josie. It was an honor to work alongside her, and I will always remember her dedication, kindness, and positive spirit. Josie made a lasting impact on our U.S. Payroll team and touched the lives of many colleagues in Canada.

I’m heartbroken of knowing that Josie passed away. I had a year working very close to her, talking up to 5 times in a day and not always about work. I remember when we talk about to meet someday in Miami, after working so much and so close, we deserved to meet each other, that’s what we said. I learned so much from her and she will always have a space in my heart. She was a lovely woman, and she always talked passionate about her grandchildren, I had the opportunity to see them through camera a couple times, she was always so proud of her family and now I cannot imagine how hard this has been for all of you. I send all my strength and love to the Ricci Family; Josie will be always missed and loved. She will never be forgotten.

Dear Ricci and Serino family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
Josie and I were childhood friends growing up on Harvie Ave. She was the kindest and dearest of people even back when we were kids.
