elevated 12OjP It is with profound sadness, yet hearts full of gratitude, that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Giuseppina Saragosa. Born in the town of Serra S. Bruno, Calabria, Italy, Nonna Giuseppina lived a life full of love, laughter, and an unshakable spirit that inspired all who knew her. Today, she is joyfully reunited in Heaven with her devoted husband, Giovanni Antonio Saragosa, with whom she shared 70 beautiful years of love and partnership.
elevated 12OjP Giuseppina was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother to her daughters, Lina and Anna, and a cherished mother-in-law to Sergio and Tony. Her legacy shines brightly through her adoring grandchildren, Stephanie (Adam), Stephen (Zoey), Massimo, Ida, and her first great-grandson, Liam, who brought her so much joy.
elevated 12OjP Giuseppina’s kitchen was a place of magic that brought everyone together. Her meals were more than food, they were acts of love, shared with generosity and warmth. Giuseppina’s laughter and tenacity were infectious, and she had a way of turning even the simplest moments into memories we will treasure forever.
elevated 12OjP Though we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the love she gave us, the lessons she taught us, and the laughter she shared with us.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your mother (especially so soon after the loss of your father). Losing someone so special and important in your life is heartbreaking. I am praying for you and your family.
Some people feel like home—and she was ours. Her presence brought warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. Anytime we left her house, we left with full hearts—and, most importantly to her, full bellies. She felt like home to all of us, a constant source of care, strength, and love.
Our Nonna had a heart of gold, just like our Nonno, and she loved her grandchildren beyond words. But above all, she was a devoted mother who adored her children with everything she had. Her love for them was fierce, protective, and unconditional. She was proud of the family she raised, and everything she did in life—every meal, every lesson, every sacrifice—was for them.
Her love for her husband was deep and unwavering—the kind of love that spanned over 70 years. The bond they shared is something we all hope to find in our own lives: , selfless, and built on a lifetime of devotion. I can’t help but feel she was ready to be with him once again.
She was the kind of woman who took pride in everything she did—from keeping her home spotless, to growing her flowers and basil with care, to cooking meals that brought the whole family together. Feeding her family was her love language, and no one ever left her table hungry.
One of our most cherished memories is the annual tradition of making tomato sauce with Nonna and Nonno. Every year, they would have us by their side, teaching us how to wash, crush, and bottle tomatoes with patience, laughter, and love. It wasn’t just about the food—it was about family, about passing something down, about being together. Those moments live on in all of us.
She was funny, even when she didn’t mean to be—bringing laughter to our lives in the most unexpected ways. She was a proud and graceful woman: clean, well-kept, and full of life. A true firecracker, spirited and vibrant, with a beauty that shined inside and out.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, tradition, and warmth—one that lives on in all of us through every shared meal, blooming flower, and family gathering. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she is reunited with Nonno, watching over us with the same fierce, unconditional love she gave so freely in life.
