Gloria Oliveira passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born on September 7th, 1938 in Sao Miguel, Acores, to Jose Joaquim Vicente and Maria de Rosaria Maiato. Gloria was the heart and soul of our family; dedicating her life to creating a loving home as a devoted mother. She poured her heart into raising her children and grandchildren; nurturing each of us with boundless love and care. Besides her affectionate and nurturing nature, Gloria derived happiness from baking homemade cookies, preparing her family’s beloved arroz doce and nourishing her loved ones; ensuring guests were well-fed before departing her home, and indulging in her favorite novelas. Her warm smile and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Gloria leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by her children: Joe (Cecilia), Humberto (Grace), Tony (Connie), Gloria (Daniel), and Ana (Joe), as well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. We will forever carry Gloria’s memory in our hearts; grateful for the love and wisdom she shared with us.

Prima Gloria was a wonderful lady, she was loved by all.
