elevated FgntN Obituary
Our dear Brother Greg passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on May 8, 2026 after a long, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
elevated FgntN He is survived by his devoted, long-time partner Celestine Rosales, his loving sisters and brothers: Bill (Debbie), Jan, John, Patti, Susan (Paul) and Julie (Dean), his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Emma, Carl and Evan, along with his many good and loyal friends.
elevated FgntN Greg was predeceased by his adoring parents John Peter Suddick and Teresa Ann (nee Brennan). He was born into a big family in Willowdale where our front lawn served as a football field on which Greg learned to avoid his brothers’ tackles. The training paid off. He was chosen for the Toronto High School All Star team while attending school at Earl Haig Secondary School. Here he made many life-long friends.
elevated FgntN An avid and talented golfer, his love and knowledge of the game helped him to become a top salesman of golf equipment.
elevated FgntN After a successful career in sales, Greg returned to work for Canada Post. Here he met Celes and continued to grow his circle of friends through his sense of fairness, generosity and sense of humour. Greg will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
elevated FgntN If desired, donations may be made to Sunnybrook Foundation in memory of Greg.

May Greg’s soul Rest ln Peace.
Thinking of you guys—, tough times.

I worked at Canada Post where Greg was my immediate supervisor. I was so honored and fortunate to work along side with Greg. I never might such a fair and accommodating supervisor. He was always willing to assist me in anyway he could after being off work for a prolonged period of time. Hearing of Greg’s passing surprised me and I would like to express my condolences to his family and friends. May Greg rest in peace and may his acts of kindness and generosity never be forgotten. RIP my friend.
I had the opportunity to work with Greg and he was a great guy. Fair and too rational for our crazy environment. We commiserated and laughed. The world is a lesser place without him. RIP Greg.
Greg you will be missed at CPC. Everyone loved your humor.
Considerate, understanding, tolerant, kind-hearted and wise, this is all I have in my mind about Greg!
RIP Greg!
Our condolences to the Suddick family. Greg worked for me at Uplands Golf Club in the late 1980’s before heading off with Titleist. He was a fun person to work with and fun guy in life with a funny sense of humour. We have not seen Greg in years but think of him often, He bought my wife and I a clock that sits on a bookshelf in our home office and my wife looks at it every day. Cherish the memories.

My condolences to all of Greg’s family and friends. My heart goes out to you.
🙏May your soul rest in peace.🙏
I had a great time and many unforgettable memories working under your supervision at the South Center Letter Processing Plant.
You were an amazing human being — fair, understanding, motivating, and a truly great leader. Your kindness, dedication, and the respect you showed to everyone made a lasting impact on all of us.
You will always be remembered with gratitude and respect.
Miss you sir,
My sincere condolences to Greg’s family. It’s been several years since we were close but I have fond memories of many great times with Greg.
I was pleased his place as a City Allstar is fondly remembered by his siblings. I played many football games with Greg and I played with him on that team. I’m blessed with size for the game but hands down Greg was one of the toughest and smartest players I ever played with. He maxed out on heart and ability with an unassuming frame to be an elite player.
One of my many memories of Greg was after that All Star Game — coaches and recruiters were four deep at his locker begging him to come and play for their programs. In typical Greg fashion after being fully exhausted from the game he shooed them all away. He was angry we lost and had no interest in any discussion as loses always weighed heavy on him. Ironic because Greg was never a reason for losing. I can see it like it was yesterday.
Greg’s athletic ability was remarkable. On the Golf Course or Gridiron. Personally I’m better for the time we knew each and now wish there was still time to catch up.
Regretfully I won’t be able to attend his memorial in person as it my sons graduation day. But in good Earl Haig/hHarrier tradition I will raise a glass and toast the exceptional character and athleticism of my friend Greg Suddick. #gonetoosoon #rip
To Greg’s family.
My sincerest condolences.
My heart is broken.
We last texted on New Years. I so wish that we would have had the chance for one more hilarious conversation. I want you all to know that Greg had such impact as a human being. I met him in 2015 at Canada Post when I returned from maternity leave and we became such great buddies. He made everyone around him laugh(as you of course know) he was such a nice kind person.
He was also such a private person so I made it my mission to try and learn more about him. This would be a source of crazy laughter between us as he dodged my question then made more jokes.
He was my rock at work.
He has been missed.
He is missed.
I’m thankful he is no longer in pain.
May he rest in peace

I am very sorry to hear about Greg’s passing! I worked with him around 2015-2016 in Mech at SCLPP and he quickly became a sort of “idol supervisor” for many of us! Approachable, great sense of humour, excellent communicator, infectious laugh….just an overall positive person! We were looking forward to his presence at AJPC! Greg was a wonderful colleague and he will be missed! My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
I met Greg in 1991 when I came to Toronto to visit my family. He treated me like one of the boys and his sense of humour was legendary. When I returned in 97 and 2018 it was like I had seen him only last week. Will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
I remember Greg fondly. My deepest sympathy.
