It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Guido DeVellis on July 8, 2026, at Hospice Vaughan, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of 32 years to Elsa Del Gobbo. Loving father of Sebastiano (Rosanna) and Cesira. Proud Nonno of Maria-Maya, Alessia and Olivia. Dear brother of Silvano (Angie), and Rita (late Tony). Guido was reunited with his beloved parents Gelsomino and Cesina and late sister Angela.
elevated tMr2y Guido will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
Words cannot fully express the depth of our gratitude for your generous support, kind words, and heartfelt prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Elsa,
I really can’t find the right words to console you.
I know how much Guido meant to you, and how much he loved you.
It’s not easy to expet this big loss, when you lost the person that was everything for you.
But the love that he give you, will help you to go on, his beautiful memories will stay in your heart for ever.
Coraggio my dear friend, life is cruel sometimes, taking away the people we love,
but as you know that is God’s plan, just pray and you will be close to him, as he loves you prom up there.

Silvano, Angie. Michelle & Louisa, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for the loss of your brother/brother-in-law and uncle Guido. May he be reunited at peace with your loving parents and grandparents Gelsomino & Cesina and I will always think of them when I visit my paternal grandparents at the glamorous Blessed Virgin / Crucifixion chapel site at Holy Cross which shows all the beautiful stained-glass windows and images of Our Saviour plus very wonderful statues of our Blessed Mother and the one of Jesus resurrected from the Cross.
