elevated M1OS2 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guido Di Biase on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the age of 90. Guido was the beloved husband of Filomena and the devoted father of Giovanni (Maria Rosaria) and Lucia (Romeo). He was grateful for his grandchildren Catherine, Luigi-Matthew (Amanda), Natalie and Christopher.
elevated M1OS2 Reunited with his late parents Giovanni and Filomena, with his late twin sister Eva, with his late brother Tonino and his late sister Maria Rosaria. He is also reunited with his late brother-in-laws Pietro, Santino, Geremia and with Giuseppe. Guido will also be reunited with many other dear late relatives and friends.
elevated M1OS2 Guido never failed to help anyone in need. He asked for very little and gave all he could. Everyone was welcomed in his home.
elevated M1OS2 We, who have been left behind can honour him by always trying to do the right things.
elevated M1OS2 The family of Guido would like to thank everyone for their calls and much valued words of encouragement. Finally, we would like to remind everyone who is reading this of what Guido believed in and lived by:

Our deepest condolences to all of you! Zio Guido loved you all and was very proud of his wonderful family!

Rest in peace dear Zio Compare.
You were a good man that worked very hard. As a young girl I used to be scared of your powerful voice that filled the whole room…sometimes even in operatic song when it was festive family together or event. But, obviously as I got older I came to understand you were just a big sweetheart that lived big and loved big.
You fought a valiant fight to the very end. And, Covid robbed us of so much time that we could have spent together since you moved closer to us here in Toronto from your beloved Amherstburg. But, you’ll live forever in our hearts in the irreplaceable memories we have of you and through the beautiful family you created.
It is so fitting that your last day with us here on earth was on Valentine’s Day, as you were all heart. And, now this day will have a more important meaning for us all who love you.
To my Zia Filomena and my cousins please find comfort in knowing just how much Zio was loved by everyone and how much we are praying for you all at this difficult time.
