elevated GTurK Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guilherme Antonio De Melo on Wednesday April 8, 2026, at Headwaters Hospital. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
Guilherme was born on November 10 1933, in Ribeira Grande, Açores, Portugal. The cherished Son of the late Manuel and Maria do Carmo De Melo.
His legacy is one of deep love for his family, enduring strength, and an unwavering devotion to his faith. Despite his health challenges, including a stroke in December of 2018, he lived a beautiful and fulfilling life that he was proud of.
He is now reunited with his beloved parents and brothers. Guilherme (Billy) was a devoted husband to Luiza, and proud father to Lucy(Mario) and Dave. He was also a loving Avô and bis Avô to Aaron(Celynne), Alisha (Deryk), Ariana, Easton, Leandro, and Elora.
Guilherme will be remembered by his endless stories, his little antics that made everyone laugh, his dance, and most of all for the love he had for his family.
