elevated YBnCx It is with deep profound sadness that we pronounce the passing of Harold Ford at the age of 86.
elevated YBnCx Born in Fogo Island Newfoundland he came to Ontario at 17 years of age.
elevated YBnCx He found his bride of 64 years at Gladstone.
elevated YBnCx He built a life devoted to Kathleen and Sean, his brothers and sister with many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
elevated YBnCx Harold loved the church and the Knights of Columbus.
elevated YBnCx Harold was loved and be loved by all who knew him. A special man, if ever there was one.
elevated YBnCx He absolutely adored Ireland and its people and places.
elevated YBnCx His loving memory is carried by his wife Kathleen, son Sean, grandchildren Rosalia, Alexandra, and Julia.
elevated YBnCx 33 years with the TTC. Loved his vocation and calling as a carpenter.

Harold was an incredible man who was always so kind to me. I have wonderful memories of Harold from his many trips to Ireland and from when I visited Canada, Kathleen and Harold were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for me.

Condolences to my family on the loss of such a wonderful man. Aunt Kathleen, Sean and family. My heart is breaking with yours. I will always remember when he would come back to the island for visits. He would always say to me when I was eating anything…”Do you know what that is made of?” The answer was always “Horse meat”. 🤦🏻♀️. He was such an amazing man and I loved him dearly. There was always something special about him. Soft spoken man, gentle soul and a beautiful heart. I was so happy to see him again in 2022. First thing I did was go over to him for a big hug. He was special. RIP Uncle Harold. Sending a big hug to you all. ❤️
Harold was truly a remarkable man whose warmth and kindness touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a way of making people feel instantly welcome, and his sense of humor brought so much light into every room. His generosity and genuine care meant so much to our family, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have known him. He will be deeply missed, but always remembered with love.

Dear Kathleen, Sean, and family,
As everyone wrote before me and will surely write after me, Harold was the kindest man I knew. I knew Harold from the time I was a small child through the friendships our families built in Church, and over the years the Fords became like family to us. Harold always had a joke, a story, or an explanation for everything, and I was always drawn to his warmth, humor, and wisdom.
Some people leave an impression that lasts a lifetime, and Harold was one of those people.
Please know that my prayers are with all of you during this unimaginable loss. I hope you find comfort in the love surrounding you and in the countless memories Harold gave to so many people whose lives he touched so deeply.

My sincere condolences Rest in Peace Harold. As many responding at this time, I knew Harold Ford back at TTC Plant maintenance control. Amazing guy worked together for about 10 years I was in my early 20s never forgot his calm demeanour and his great personality.

Dear Kathleen, Sean and the rest of the Ford Family. I came to know Brother Harold when I joined the Knights of Columbus (Holy Family-Father Bulfon Council). at St. Jane Frances Church. Brother Harold was dedicated to his family Kathleen, Sean. He was also dedicated to the Knights of Columbus. He was always at the services and events held by the Council. I have very fond memories of Brother Harold and my association with him.. He has now completed his earthly journey and is in the presence of Our Lord and with all his family members who have gone before him. May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed REST IN PEACE. You will surely be missed Brother Harold. Kathleen and Sean stay strong
