elevated Aos3X With great sorrow, the Mensah family announces the passing of Helen Mensah; a wife, mother, sister and friend. She passed away on April 1st 2023 at the Mississauga Trillium Hospital a month after her surgery for a brain tumor.
elevated Aos3X Helen was born on December 15th, 1977 in Accra, Ghana to Mr. Emmanuel Mane Agyiri and Mrs. Ida Ohenewaah Agyiri. She migrated to Canada from the United Kingdom with her husband Emmanuel Mensah and two daughters Ida and Wilma on March 16th, 2010.
elevated Aos3X In Ghana, Helen attended Achimota School and studied at the University of Ghana, Legon where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2001. It was at this time she met her future husband. Helen went on to be a human resources professional.
elevated Aos3X Helen was a strong believer and practitioner of the principles and teachings about the power of the subconscious mind. She was a co-founder of the Eagle Mentality Group and the African Mental Emancipation Movement. Her passion and dream have been on the complete understanding, intelligent and correct application of the principles of the power of the subconscious mind by all Africans both young and old.
elevated Aos3X Her goal was to empower all individuals mentally particularly African, to enable them to realize their full potential through the knowledge, understanding and correct application of the principles and powers of the Subconscious Mind. Helen taught and encouraged every individual to believe that, they were born to soar like the eagle above all challenges no matter where they find themselves. That any individual with The Eagle Mentality’s mindset will thrive and blossom even in the midst of a multitude of adversaries just like the eagle.
elevated Aos3X Through selfless and complete dedication to her purpose which is to serve humanity, Helen and her husband have been teaching and mentoring Africans for the past seven years. They taught about the power of the subconscious mind and spirituality as in divine metaphysics in over sixteen African countries and the world at large.
elevated Aos3X Even in the face of great adversity, Helen remained a dedicated mother, wife and confidant to everyone she knew. Helen had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She was a private person yet her presence and laugh brought joy to everyone around her. She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She was strong-willed and stubborn, but these traits defined her. They were part of who she was and her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life’s challenges.
elevated Aos3X Helen was a strong fighter, and because of her faith in God, she is now sailing on a journey to distant shores that we cannot see.

elevated Aos3X Helen is survived by her husband Emmanuel Mensah and her three daughters Ida, Wilma and Valerie Mensah. Helen also survived her parents Mr. Emmanuel Mane Agyiri and Mrs. Ida Ohenewaah Agyiri. Three siblings; Samuel Kofi Agyiri, Jude Darko Agyiri and Paul Ofosu Agyiri.

My heart is full of sorrow. I can’t still come to terms with the demise of a fallen heroine who has impacted positively the lives of many she came across.
The great mama Eagle, Helen Mensah, your memories will never fade easily from our minds. How I miss those unexpected calls just to check on me and my family. I have never acquainted with someone so caring and showed so much concern for others as you. For you, distance was not a barrier to connect with loved ones. The Eagle’s Mentality Group will surely miss you. Whose feet will now fit into your big shoes inspiring and motivating others?
That lovely voice on the other end of the phone has disappeared just like that (weeping).
The world is a stage where everybody plays his or her part. You have indeed played your part well and diligently for that matter.
Until we try to reconcile our thoughts and emotions, I say adieu mama Eagle till meet again on that beautiful shore where we sorrow no more.

I remember the first you were introduced to me by Eagle Emma as a new member of the Eagles mentality fraternity we move from total strangers to family. You were always ready to give a helping at the expense of your own needs. You lived but you touch so many lives including mine. Eagle Helen as we affectionately call you. The news of You being sick and your sudden demise came as a shock to me and my family. We are waiting for a text, a call, and your zoom meeting with my children. However the silence is so deep. We are trying to come to terms with reality however You have left an irreplaceable void in us. We can only take comfort in the sovereignty of God. You are a mother, mentor, friend, sister, and a leader who deeply cared and loved us. Though absent in the body I believe you are present with the Lord. I know you have not left us as orphans. You have fortified our souls with wisdom, divine intelligence, creative thinking, love for God, and humanity. Indeed death is painful to the living. It is fresh on my mind my last encounter with her in the morning 2nd March 2023 which was Thursday and also at 16:04 GMT when i sent her several of my articles for review. She gave me a go ahead to select one of them
for moderation on EMG platform. She selected the article titled being purposeful. Her last word to me was purpose which was the title of my article. Truly this is a powerful word to me. To live up to the purpose which brought me here on earth to be useful to myself and to serve humanity at large. I say sincerely to Eagle Helen that thank you kindly for not just existing and adding to numbers to occupy space rather you have proved to the world and left your mark in the heart of many and today here i sit mourning sincerely from my heart because you were a gem in my life. I say to your spirit that the torch that you lit shall never grow dim in your absence. We at EMG shall continue to esteem you high as our icon and continue to celebrate you in every facet of our life eternally. It is is rather unfortunate that your body couldn’t sustain you to be with us a little longer to lead us. I know you have only transition to a different realm because i know that energy can not be created nor destroy but only transform from one state to another.

Mrs Mensah was an amazing human being who believed in helping people. I met her in late 2016 when I was trying to come to terms with the loss of my mom. She was there encouraging and offering support to me. From time to time, she’ll send messages introducing me to the power of the subconscious mind and finally invited me to join the Eagle Mentality Group. Our exchanges increased my self belief and gave me knowledge on things I never knew before.
I’m deeply saddened by her passing. But I know she’s inspired many other young Africans. She’s lived a life of purpose. I pray that the God Almighty grant her his eternal joyous kingdom of heaven. I’ll surely miss her😔
Strength and Might is drawn from the Almighty God. I remember vividly the 1st time we spoke. It was At my broken moment. But nothing fell short of what is being testify about you. You were a sure source of rock, embodiment of the power given to us by the Lord Almighty. You touch my life, you’ve touch so many lives. You will be forever be in our memories, heart and lips. Words cannot express the depth of sorrow and loss I feel on that fateful day of 1st April 2023!! It all felt like a dream that I will wake up from to see all my confusion disappear and get some relief.
But it has been a month now and this confusion still lives within me.
You were not just a teacher and inspirer to me but also a friend, mother, and point of hope to me for the past four years of my life. You brought so much inspiration into my life and made me believe in myself more than I can think of.
Your teachings on Eagle Mentality platform have been the greatest blessings of my life as I have been transformed in so many good ways.
Your passing has left a void that can never be filled, but I take comfort in the impacts you made on my life within this short period of knowing you.
You were an incredible teacher of spiritual truths always giving your best to everything you did. Your kindness, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of so many people, and I am proud to have know you in life.
Eagle Helen, I was really looking forward to meeting you in life and that very thought of never going have the chance to shake your hand and have a motherly hug from you breaks my spirit daily. It has been really hard trying to put these words together.
