We greatly feel his loss but day by day we will let go of it but never our love for him. Herman has been a dear friend and ‘brother’ to me and others and we have many memories to cherish from our boyhood days to when our Lord took him. My sincere condolences to the bereaved family.Today my heart aches for the loss of my boyhood friend. Best Village WCD has lost a villager who truly loved humanity. Herman and I shared parallel lives while we strived for social excellence. Our brass ring was having a loving and caring family; we achieved that. I fondly remember some events ofour teen age years. One such event was when I took on the role of life guard and rescued Herman from a “side line trench” drowning; another was when he and I cycled to Sheila’s home only to be met by her father who questioned his (Herman’s) reason for his visit. There are so many other occasions that cannot be mentioned here. But they were great and fond memories. So, to my now departed friend; I love you. RIP. When the roll is called up yonder we will be there.

Many prayers and sincere condolences for your family and friends during this difficult time . You were truly a genuine, loving, and sincerely helpful man for Adams family, especially for my sister Sheila. You will truly be missed! Rest well my brother and law and friend. Your purpose here on Earth has been completed; being a loving husband, faithful servant of God, a diligent worker and a doting father. You will surely be missed and we will meet again soon. Please watch over all of us, as you now sit beside my mother Sybil, father David Adams Sr. my bothers and your family.

I had the privilege of working for Herman at Canadian Tire back in The 80’s. He was a true mentor to me and guiding light. He will definitely be missed and May he rest in peace. I will always remember his daily saying when he was leaving for the day “If you miss me, I’m gone” Bless you my friend

Herman and his wife attended church with my mum for many years. They were an absolutely wonderful couple. Many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting some of his kinfolk in Barbados.
Herman was a tremendous individual and I know for a fact that he enhanced the life of everyone who had the pleasure to know him. We will truly miss Herman.
