elevated vhi0o It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Hermano Pereira on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his home, with his beloved family by his side. Beloved husband of Alexandrina for nearly 54 years. Loving father of Nelson (Elsa) Pereira, Janet (Craig) DeNobrega, and Karen (Paul) Raposo. Dear grandfather of Eric, Andrew, Brandon, Hayden, Lauren and Danielle. Cherished brother to Venilde, Alda and Honorato. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
elevated vhi0o Hermano was a dedicated husband and father who founded Dundas Wood Windows & Specialties Inc.. He was passionate about his family, his work and life. He was a loving husband to his wife Alexandrina. Working alongside his children Nelson, Janet and Karen brought him tremendous joy and a feeling of accomplishment. He took great pride in helping his customers creating cherished friendships along the way. His strong will and desire to succeed are legendary. He will be lovingly remembered for his kindness, generosity and inspirational spirit.
elevated vhi0o Arrangements entrusted to Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions, we are inviting family and friends to pay their respects, offer condolences and then kindly exit the building to allow for others to enter. A maximum of 50 people will be permitted into the visitation room at a time. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, December 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St Isaac Jogues Church, 1148 Finch Ave, Pickering, Ontario, L1V 1J6 with interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations made to Lung Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Nelson, Janet and Karen, so sorry for the rather sudden passing of your father. It was always a pleasure to chat with him in your showroom. I even remember meeting him back in the late 80’s/early 90’s at your old shop where I was sent for any specialty type doors back when I was dealing with Mason Windows. The years pass much too quickly. I am honoured to have known him and your family, he was so obviously a wonderful influence on all of you, and you were certainly children he was greatly proud of. Wishing you peace to bring comfort and the courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
